Der <strong>Berg San Giorgio<\/strong> war bislang nur in der <strong>Schweiz<\/strong> als <strong>UNESCO Projekt<\/strong> aufgenommen.<\/p>\n<p>Der <strong>Monte San Giorgio<\/strong> ist bekannt als der beste Ort um <strong>marine Fossile<\/strong> zu studieren. Vor Allem <strong>marine Fossile aus der Zeit der Trias<\/strong> wurden hier gefunden. Es gibt eine Theorie, die besagt, dass einige der <strong>Fossile aus Afrika<\/strong> stammen. Die UNESCO hat den Monte Giorgio im Jahr 2003 zum <strong>Weltkulturerbe<\/strong> erkl\u00e4rt.<\/p>\n<p>Das <strong>Umweltministerium <\/strong>hat sich an die UNESCO gewendet um das Projekt Monte Giorgio so voranzutreiben. Es handelt sich hier um eine vorbildhafte Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem in der&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.weltweit-urlaub.de\/schweiz\/\" >Schweiz<\/a> liegenden Region <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lago-maggiore-urlaub.de\/tessin\/\" >Tessin<\/a> und dem Land&nbsp; Italien.<\/p>\n<p>Der <strong>Monte San Giorgio<\/strong> wird der zweite Ort in den <strong>Alpen<\/strong> sein, der in das <strong>Weltkulturerbe<\/strong> aus einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen zwei L\u00e4ndern aufgenommen wurde.
