In Lugano<\/a> am wundersch\u00f6nen Luganer See<\/a> befindet sich die Villa Favorita<\/strong>, die im Besitz der Familie Thyssen<\/strong> ist. Diese Villa ist eines der Schmuckst\u00fccke herrschaftlicher Anwesen am Luganer See<\/strong>. Der weltweit bekannte Dalai Lama<\/strong> hat im Garten der Villa Favorita<\/strong> eine Magnolia<\/strong> gepflanzt. <\/p>\n

Die Villa Favorita<\/strong> besitzt einen wunderbaren Garten<\/strong> am Fu\u00dfe eines Berges namens Monte Bre<\/strong>. Die Villa befindet sich in Castagnola<\/strong>, einem Vorort des ber\u00fchmten Ortes Lugano<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Au\u00dfer den G\u00e4rten<\/strong> und der Ausstattung der Villa<\/strong> ist auch die Vergangenheit dieses Anwesens sehr interessant und beeindruckend. Gebaut wurde die Villa um 1685<\/strong> von Karl Konrad von Beroldingen, der aus der Schweiz stammte. Karl Konrad war Landvogt in Lugano<\/strong>. Doch 1732<\/strong> hat Graf Giovanni Rodolfo Riva<\/strong> aus Lugano das prunkvolle Anwesen erworben. Letztendlich gelangte das Anwesen im Jahr 1919<\/strong> in deutschen Besitz unter Leopold von Preu\u00dfen<\/strong>, der aus dem Hause Hohenzoller<\/strong> stammt. Leopold war mehr als 10 Jahre der Hausherr der Villa Favorita<\/strong>. Nach so vielen Besitzern fiel das Schmuckst\u00fcck 1932<\/strong> in die H\u00e4nde der Familie Thyssen-Bornemisza<\/strong>. Die Besitzer bereicherten die Villa zus\u00e4tzlich mit einer wertvollen Kunstsammlung<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Heute ist nicht viel von dem Prunk und Reichtum geblieben, au\u00dfer der wundersch\u00f6nen Anlage rund um die Villa Favorita<\/strong>. Die Lage der Villa direkt am Luganer See<\/strong> ist sehr vorteilshaft. Von den G\u00e4rten der Villa<\/strong> aus hat man einen wundersch\u00f6nen Blick \u00fcber den See<\/strong> und den kleinen Strand der Ortschaft. <\/p>\n

Man kann den sch\u00f6n gestalteten Park besuchen und die artenreiche Vegetation<\/strong> bewundern. Gleich hinter dem Eingangstor spaziert man durch eine Zypressenallee<\/strong>, die am See entlang f\u00fchrt. Die G\u00e4rten, Beete und Wege wurden den Gegebenheiten des Gel\u00e4ndes angepasst und wirken so besonders fantasievoll und kreativ<\/strong>. Hier hat ein englischer Garten mit streng symmetrischen Formen nichts zu suchen. <\/p>\n

Ein weiteres beeindruckendes Element der Villa Favorita ist eine Allee mit S\u00e4ulenzypressen<\/strong>, die fast wie perfekte S\u00e4ulen eines griechischen Tempels wirken. <\/p>\n

Die Zypressenallee<\/strong> f\u00fchrt in einen Botanischen Garten<\/strong>, in dem sich eine Vielzahl von exotischen Pflanzen<\/strong> befinden. Man findet Magnolien, Japanische Zedern, Andentannen<\/strong> und vieles mehr. Die heimische Edelkastanie<\/strong> darf im Botanischen Garten nat\u00fcrlich auch nicht fehlen. Wolllmispel, Silberahorn, Blutbuche, F\u00e4cherblattb\u00e4ume<\/strong>, Kampfer<\/strong> und ein Tulpenbaum<\/strong> geh\u00f6ren ebenfalls zu den Highlights des Botanischen Gartens der Villa Favorita<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Zur Villa Favorita<\/strong> geh\u00f6ren weitere Geb\u00e4ude wie die Casa Modesta<\/strong>, die Villa Ghirlanda<\/strong> und der Turm der Glorietta<\/strong>. Diese Geb\u00e4ude wirken besonders sch\u00f6n und strahlend, da sie von blutrotem Rhododendron<\/strong> umrankt werden.<\/p>\n
